Bio
Taylor is a Miami-based dancer and choreographer who received her BFA in Dance from the University of Florida (UF). She is trained in a variety of styles, including jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, modern, postmodern, and hip hop, with her practice centering on contemporary dance. Her research in the body focuses on foregrounding bodily sensation as the impetus for movement. She has had fulfilling opportunities working with and performing repertoire and works by Doug Varone, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, David Dorfman, Xan Burley, Alex Springer, Onye Ozuzu, Ali Pfleger, and more.
Taylor has been teaching and choreographing for 5+ years, showing her work at the School of Theatre and Dance at UF, Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Bates Dance Festival, and a variety of national dance competitions.
During her time at UF, she had the opportunity to produce and direct four shows with Danza Dance Company.
